Social Responsibilities

 

At Davenport Solicitors, we strongly believe that education is the basic right of every human being and that is why we chose to supportĀ PORDAC (Protection of the Rights of Differently Abled Children).

PORDAC is a registered NGO founded by Manjir Gupta in 2009 with the mission of working to secure the rights of differentlyabled children.

There is a real lack of attention and awareness towards children with autism in India. PORDAC strives to raise awareness for autism and to advocate for the protection of the rights of differently abled children and their rehabilitation. They offer guidance and support to enable parents to help support their children.

Our association with PORDAC is a symbol of our corporate social responsibility efforts at Davenport Solicitors.

Parivartan School

An initiative of PORDAC, Parivartan School was started to be a safe and supportive learning environment for differently abled children. Here, the children are free to learn at their own pace. Services offered include occupational therapy, speech therapy, individualised academic plans and basic skills training. They are expanding every day and hope to offer more and more resources for students in the future.
